I’m looking forward to attending the Flash Memory Summit (FMS) next week in Santa Clara. With the popularity of NVMe™, NVMe-oF™, Persistent Memory and advanced memory technologies, PCI-SIG® is excited to celebrate the growth of flash storage. The conference and expo, taking place August 7-9, is a great opportunity to learn about the latest developments in PCIe® technology. There are several ways to learn more:

Attend the PCI-SIG Session

If you’re attending the educational sessions, add our PCI Express® presentation to your schedule:

Justin Wenck from Intel will be speaking on “PCI Express: What’s Next for Flash Storage.” The presentation is slotted during the NVME-301-1: PCIe®/NVMe Technology Update session at 8:30 am on Thursday, August 9.

This can’t miss presentation will cover the current status of the PCIe 4.0 technology rollout and testing,  and provide an update on the PCIe 5.0 specification development and timeline for completion in 2019.

Meet the Press

I’ll be attending the event to meet with press and analysts to discuss PCIe adoption, spec development, and organizational news. If you’re a member of the press interested in learning more about PCIe technology for the storage industry, contact the PCI-SIG PR team at pr@pcisig.com to schedule a briefing.

Visit Us on the Show Floor

I would also like to invite you to stop by PCI-SIG’s pod in the SD Association’s Booth #725. We recently announced a liaison with the SDA to advance its new SD Express memory card, which utilizes PCIe 3.0 technology, as a component in the PCIe ecosystem. At our pod, we’ll be highlighting the latest PCIe solutions from our member companies, answering questions about the specifications and provide fun giveaways.

I hope to see you in Santa Clara.
