Press conference on June 5 to announce PCIe 5.0 spec updates

Calling all member companies and members of the press. I’d like to invite you to join us for our annual PCI-SIG Developers Conference 2018 which is coming soon to the Santa Clara Convention Center. In addition to the DevCon, there will be a press conference to share PCIe spec updates, as well as the Annual Members Meeting. Keep reading for more details on these activities.

PCI-SIG Developers Conference
June 5-6 at the Santa Clara Convention Center
DevCon is free and open to the PCI-SIG’s 700+ member companies and a great place for systems architects, designers, engineers, and engineering managers to see real-world technologies and products utilizing PCI Express technology and receive updates and practical knowledge on the latest specs and implementations. Press Conference
10:30-11:30am, June 5

Registered press will receive an update on adoption traction for the PCIe 4.0 specification, as well as information on the PCIe 5.0 spec announced at last year’s press conference. In addition, DevCon sponsors will provide insight into their PCIe solutions and press and analysts are invited to view the exhibitor booths to see the latest PCIe design implementations as well as attend select technical sessions on Tuesday. Annual Members Meeting

Open to all member company employees, PCI-SIG leadership will cover:

  •  State of the SIG Address
  •  Introduction of the newly elected 2018-19 PCI-SIG Board of Directors

There has been a lot of PCI-SIG activity in the past year and I encourage you to come learn what’s new from the industry’s PCIe experts, participate in technical trainings, and learn from our members that have implemented PCIe technology and will be sharing best practices.
