This year’s Flash Memory Summit (FMS) is coming up on August 6. As PCI Express technologies continue to evolve and make strides in the industry, PCI-SIG® is excited to highlight our participation in the growth of flash storage. Thus far, 2019 has been an eventful year for PCI-SIG in regards to the progression of PCI Express® specifications. Attending the conference and expo, taking place August 6-8 in Santa Clara, is an excellent way to learn about the latest developments and future of PCI Express technology.

Here are a few ways to learn more about PCIe® technology and connect with PCI-SIG:

Visit Us at the PCI-SIG Booth

At Booth #949 on the show floor, we’ll have a PCI Express Technology Showcase featuring 28 products from 19 member companies leveraging PCIe 4.0 and PCIe 5.0 specifications. PCI-SIG representatives will also be available to chat and answer questions about the specifications.

PCI-SIG Sponsored Presentation

Need help planning your schedule at FMS? If you’re thinking of attending educational sessions, join us at the PCI Express presentation:

PCI-SIG Board Member, Debendra Das Sharma, will be speaking on “The New Generation of Storage: From PCI Express® 4.0 to PCI Express 6.0.” The presentation is slotted during the NVME-301-1: PCIe®/NVMe Technology Update session at 8:30 am on Thursday, August 8.

In this presentation, Debendra will cover the adoption of the PCIe 4.0 architecture into a variety of technologies, discuss the rollout of the PCIe 5.0 specification and share an update on PCIe 6.0 specification development.

Press and Analyst Briefings

I’ll be attending the event to meet with press and analysts to discuss PCIe adoption, spec development, and organizational news. If you’re a member of the press interested in learning more about PCIe technology for the storage industry, contact the PCI-SIG PR team at pr@pcisig.com to schedule a briefing.

FMS is shaping up to be another exciting storage event and I’m looking forward to seeing you in Santa Clara.
